Ubisoft Future Games of London is a Ubisoft studio that designs, develops and operates free-to-play mobile and digital console games. Founded in September 2009, Ubisoft FGOL create original and unique games such as the Hungry Shark series which has been enjoyed by over half a billion people worldwide.

We are a dedicated team with drive, passion and creativity, who enjoy being part of a forward thinking studio in an exciting and ever-evolving industry.

Over the next 5 years, we expect to be typically developing two to three projects in parallel, with regularly scheduled new releases added to our catalogue.

JOB DESCRIPTION

FGOL is currently looking at taking on a junior programmer to work on our hit game Hungry Hungry Shark World and/or any other future projects. Working in small teams and reporting to the Lead Programmer, the responsibilities include implementing new game play features and debugging and updating the games. The ideal candidates are passionate about programming and looking for a break into the mobile games industry.

Experience

  • BSc or equivalent degree in a relevant field
  • Completed at least one project in Unity3D
  • Passion for games

Skills

  • Good understanding of C#
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English
  • Experience using source control software (such as Perforce/Git)
  • Confidence with debugging in Unity

Plus

  • Passion for Graphics/Audio/Systems programming
  • Able to show examples of personal or academic Unity projects
