Full Circle is seeking an Associate Experience Designer to join the Skate team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders and your XD colleagues to meet priorities of meaningful experience design solutions.
  • Understanding results of user testing and feedback to feed into user centered and actionable design goals.
  • Using words, visual representations, physical objects, space, motion, and interaction behavior to contribute to objectives in an effective and emotionally resonant manner.
  • Prototyping representative models of a product or feature to facilitate testing to get user feedback, assist with development decisions and mitigate risk. These range from paper or click-throughs to higher fidelity prototypes.
  • Exploring new ideas and applying a system of design interactions, patterns and scalable components to build a consistent product.
  • Helping teams empathize with users and relatedly championing for usability and accessibility
  • Gathering competitive research and presenting key findings to the XD team and interested stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years of experience as a UX designer, experience designer, product designer, or interaction designer.
  • Knowledge of a broad UX design toolkit for various stages of development (journey mapping, empathy maps, archetypes, user scenarios, site maps, flows, wireframes, prototypes etc…)
  • A willingness and demonstrated ability to learn new UX skills and concepts and incorporate those abilities into your work
  • Collaborating. You have strong communication skills and a way of explaining ideas that get others interested and excited
  • A basic technical knowledge of what needs to happen to bring your designs to life
  • Bonus points if your visual design skills are pretty solid, too
  • Passion for games with a solid grasp of market trends
  • Proficiency in using the most common Adobe Creative Suite tools as well as UX design tools such as Adobe XD or Figma
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field or equivalent experience.
