Javascript is our core technology, running both our games in the browser and our infrastructure on the backend runs well on old, modest hardware.

As a Data Engineer in our team, on top of building great tools, we expect you to:

• Help data team building a super flexible and yet cost-efficient data warehouse solution;
• Literally, shape and shake the data foundation that makes is used by EVERYONE at FRVR, our game studios and distribution partners;
• Build a super reliable and precise data foundation with incredible high organisational impact;
• Push the boundaries and expect to have your boundaries pushed.

Challenges & Responsibilities:

• You will have the daily operational responsibility for the quality and integrity of the moving parts of the data pipeline.
• You will work tightly with engine engineers securing the high data standards and best data practices
• On the BI and data team you will be responsible for making high quality, a reliable testable dataset that everyone can trust
• You will be responsible for shaping efficient data structures and queries that can be run cost-effectively in BigQuery

Who we're looking for:

• Cloud Database Expert
• SQL Expert
• Have a strong understanding and opinion about data warehousing best practices
• Have knowledge about Python, Javascript and R
