First Contact is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Tester to help support the creation of the next generation of high-end VR games.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with QA & Production team members to meet schedules and testing demands for all departments
Work closely with multiple disciplines to investigate issues
Identify issues in a live title and work with the internal team to reproduce, document and resolve issues for patches
Test current and future content for multiple titles
Contribute to creating, executing and maintaining test plans and procedures

REQUIRED SKILLS

At least 3 years of professional game testing experience, or at least 2 notable titles shipped and credited on a major platform
Ability to share and clearly communicate ideas to give valuable feedback and describe details or events to investigate issues
Experience with major test tracking software (JIRA/DevTrack/etc.)
Ability to analyze and adapt to testing obstacles
Must work well in a team oriented environment and independently
Able to work in a VR environment for extended periods of time (1hr+)

DESIRED SKILLS

General knowledge and experience playing multiple titles and different genres allowing you to speak from an informed perspective. FPS experience a +
Self motivation to ad-hoc investigate and document functionality
Desire to learn new skills and systems
Familiarity with testing on PSVR, Oculus Rift or Oculus Quest devices
