To support our Commercial Division, FIFA is looking to recruit a flexible and service-oriented person with the ability to work in a cross-divisional team as a:

Sales Manager

Your duties

  • Responsible for media rights sales for FIFA World Cup and other FIFA events, including eFootball
  • Conducting and managing sales of FIFA Archive assets
  • Conducting FIFA Archive asset contractual process from start to finish (with support of Commercial Legal)
  • Assisting with sales processes for FIFA events
  • Carrying out research on media landscapes in various markets
  • Coordinating exchange of completed contracts
  • Managing preparation for internal approvals
  • Supporting Head of TV Sales and Senior Sales Managers with ad hoc projects, including on site at FIFA events
  • Managing complex problems on site in real time with respect to broadcasters’ rights and obligations
  • Coordinating certain ad hoc projects, which includes liaising with other stakeholders (ie the Brand Management department, music project partners etc)

Our requirements

  • BA or BS degree, and preferably Master’s degree in a commercial field
  • More than 2 years’ experience working directly in buying/selling media rights for a premium sports property/agency/broadcaster
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape, including distribution and monetization models
  • Experienced in internal/external client and account management
  • Good understanding of digital and social media platforms, including advertising metrics/analytics, and industry trends
  • Proven experience of problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex English-language contracts
  • Experience with digital media products and/or eSports is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent in English, other major Asian and European languages are an asset
  • Detail oriented approach to work, in particular with legal documents
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and prioritise effectively
  • Ability to represent the interests of the Division
  • Good organisational skills and punctual delivery of tasks
  • Strong team player with good social skills
  • Good communication and facilitation skills are essential
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
