THE ROLE

We’re looking for a motivated Marketing Executive with a passion for quality brand communications across multiple platforms. We’re looking for a self-starter who can handle multiple projects at once, whilst liaising with colleagues and providing reports for management and other departments. This is a varied role that could see you in meetings with key hardware partners one day, and in phone calls with influencers the next. This role would suit someone early on in their career, looking for their first marketing role. But it could also suit someone coming from a junior role, looking for more independence in their work. Anywho who is enthusiastic about brand marketing and PCs, gaming or Esports would love this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop marketing campaigns as required, including budget, content and scheduling
  • Create and manage PPC campaigns as required (e.g. Amazon, Google and social media)
  • Collect customer data and analyse to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Monitor competitor activity and brainstorm potential improvements or changes in marketing strategy, products, or services
  • Create and distribute engaging, creative, innovative content in the form of e-newsletters and blog content, and liase with colleagues to create social media posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
  • Work with other departments to develop marketing timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
  • Present regular reports to managers and other departments as required
  • Find and engage potential new opportunities with advertising and sponsorship with relevant industry entities and influencers
  • Work with partners to create promotions to meet 3rd party marketing requirements
  • Work with a team of influencers to promote the company through different social channels
  • Attend events, esports tournaments and festivals as required to promote the company

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in marketing, social media or other relevant subject, or relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms
  • Web and computer software proficiency
  • Copywriting and content creation
  • Public relations and brand marketing experience
  • Proofreading and editing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • A knowledge of esports is desirable, but not required
