Team Admins (“TA”), reporting to the Director of Gaming Excellence, shall be responsible for any gaming, marketing, commercial and/or similar administrative demand(s) to or by a Player and/or Staff Member on their respective team(s) in Evil Geniuses (“EG”). This includes but is not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Balance player’s interest and company goals
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the team
  • Collaborate cross-departmental and / or external for specific team dedicated projects
  • Ensure best possible gaming environment and lead best-in-class game day operations
  • Maintain a participative, productive, and data-driven mindset together with the coaching staff
  • Focus on health, well-being, and high quality of living within the team
  • Administrate equipment, merchandise, and additional assets for the team
  • Support and execute contractual team obligations “outside of the game”
  • Be the administrative backbone of the team
  • Work with Gaming Leadership Team (“GLT”) to achieve competitive and business success
  • Educate yourself around the standards and developments of the overall esports ecosystem

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • This position may entail significant travel
  • Previous experience in (talent) management
  • Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of esports ecosystem
  • Experience in CS:GO teams and working with tournaments organizers is a plus

#LIVEEVIL – Balance player’s interest and company goals

  • TA shall be a vital part in EG’s Gaming Strategy. The most important responsibility of a TA is the prioritization and balance of demand(s) to or by a Player and/or Staff Member. TA shall balance the player’s focus on winning against all company targets.

First Point of Contact

  • TA shall serve as first point of contact for any gaming, marketing, commercial and/or similar administrative task and shall lead the process from start to finish or handover with all required details to respective parties and remain supportive/aware until the task is completed. TA shall communicate pro-actively, efficiently, professionally and in a timely manner.

Team specific Communication, Operations and Logistics

  • As the first point of contact for team specific matters, TA shall collaborate cross-departmental and/or on behalf of EG with third parties including tournament organizers, travel/visa agencies, media requests, external staff members (e.g., videographer, psychologist, etc.) and if required distribute communications internally. The TA will also assist the Director of Gaming Excellence in the execution of EG’s long-term team management strategy.

Team Practice Environment

  • TA shall be responsible to ensure the best possible environment for practice. TA shall set a very high standard and target perfection while considering the team’s feedback as well as company requirements such as COVID-19 safety regulations. TA will be responsible for training camps organized by EG and will support EG to meet player’s expectations including but not limited to travel logistics.

Team Game Day Setups

  • Similarly, TA shall ensure perfection on game days. This includes all gaming operational tasks but shall also include the company’s interest (e.g., Sponsor representation, pro-active ideas like capturing unique behind-the-scenes “content” and more). TA will be responsible to prepare backup solutions and cover all relevant topics from gaming equipment to player well-being on game days.

Health, Well-being, and High Quality of Living

  • TA ensures a high standard of living, which includes healthy food, regular medical checkups, fitness, and robust sleep schedules. The team should practice, play, and live in a healthy and clean environment. Furthermore, a high quality of travel, accommodation and communication are important parts of the player experience in EG.

Administrative Backbone

  • TA shall be responsible for any administrative task relating to their team as well as general reporting to the Director of Gaming Excellence. Reporting shall furthermore expand to the Gaming Ops team as well as the General Management team on relevant topics.

Knowledge of Esports Ecosystem

  • TA will deal with a fast-paced ecosystem. The Director of Gaming Excellence shall mentor TAs to build strong knowledge on team management and the general esports ecosystem. TA shall be responsible to maintain an open-minded mindset with the eagerness to always learn and develop further across all elements of esports.
