Everguild is an independent game studio operating from UK and Spain, with a particular focus on polished mobile CCGs. Its main title, The Horus Heresy: Legions, is a card-battler based on Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 universe. It follows the story and characters of The Horus Heresy, with its massive background of novels, miniatures and board games. We will start developing our next tittle in the next few months, so it is the perfect time to join us!

Everguild is currently looking for a passionate and talented User Experience Designer to build compelling and accessible interfaces for our games. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent strategic and creative skills and with a passion for mobile free to play games.

Minimum requirements

  • Professional experience in Mobile User Interface design.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and visual prototyping tools.
  • A deep understanding of visual design concepts and challenges for mobile platforms.
  • Strong motivation, high level of commitment and robust troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
  • Knowledge of the The Horus Heresy: Legions game.

Desired requirements

  • Proficiency creating UI art assets with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Experience with Unity.

Duties

  • Collaborate with the team to translate game systems and gameplay user experience goals into intuitive interfaces that support and enhance the game experience.
  • Create conceptual wireframes, user flows diagrams and low-fidelity prototypes to communicate design concepts for discussion and testing purposes.
  • Produce finished design specifications with detailed requirements and use cases for final game user interface, including in-game UI (e.g. HUD).
