Core hours: Mon to Fri 9.30am-6pm, but must be flexible to cover times of global markets
Compensation: Base up to £40k + Commission (£65k+ OTE, uncapped)
Based: London, Manchester or Remote (UK)
Business travel: Some travelling will be required, attending conferences and supporting ESI Events in different regions (Europe, NA & Asia)

Based in London and founded in the summer of 2016, Esports Insider operates as a leading international media, events company & agency.
It also runs industry news platform Esportsinsider.com, B2B focused digital and print publication The Esports Journal, ESI Events, and ESI Connect; an agency service; which is focused on brokerage, consultancy and content & comms campaign delivery.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
With the Managing Director of ESI & Commercial / Sales team, the Head of Sales & Partnerships will both deliver and further develop ESI sales through forming and maintaining strong and productive relationships across the esports sector and associated industries and businesses.
The Head of Sales & Partnerships will be responsible for taking the leading role in growing ESI’s revenue across events, media, agency and professional services. This will entail a split focus between three core areas; (1) account managing existing clients to ensure their renewals and that they are upsold to, (2) bringing in new business and closing sales for our current verticals and inventory and (3) exploring new opportunities for the business, including but not limited to strategic and joint venture partnerships that make sense for ESI’s growth and development.
Due to ESI’s status as a high growth business, the Head of Sales & Partnerships must be visible in the market and industry to help to build momentum for the ESI brand.
To be successful in this role, they will need to be abreast of industry trends, track competitor activity and be able to feed in new thinking and consider new verticals and revenue opportunities.
An in-depth knowledge of business development with the esports sector and a proven track record of closing sales, hitting targets, and creating effective relationships with clients is required. There are rapid development opportunities for those who perform strongly in this role.
The role reports into the MD of ESI directly.
