Location: Columbus, OH

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Producer will serve as the creative leader on individual large-scale and long-term projects and act as a day-to-day manager of Producers and Associate Producers. The Senior Producer will serve as primary subject matter expert for broadcast from show-calling to internal and external stakeholder communication and everything in between. Help build something great at the cutting edge of the esports broadcast space!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Manage all functions of a broadcast show, including but not limited to: show calling, video, broadcast, and event productions in conjunction with direct reports, clients, and co-workers
  • Work with internal and external teams to lead creative broadcast vision and manage all aspects of esports broadcast presentation including, but not limited to: graphics packages, run of show, promotion, on-screen content and assets
  • Serve as a people manager for a team consisting of Producers and Associate Producers
  • Act as back-bench producer to ensure quality standards being met
  • Perform live show calling in a studio broadcast environment
  • Define program goals and ensure broadcast team is meeting them
  • Serve as subject matter expert when assigned programs require budget scope changes
  • Create, iterate, and manage all broadcast and relevant communication and documentation
  • Partner with technical, logistical, production, and any relevant teams and team members to appropriately communicate, source, and manage equipment, crew, staging, video, lighting, and other event and broadcast related items
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE

  • 5+ years of experience combined producing in studio / on location / in post
  • 2+ years of demonstrated ability to effectively lead, coach, and mentor producers
  • Knowledge of run of show software
  • Experience managing simultaneous large-scale projects and multiple priorities in time sensitive environments
  • Proficient soft skills in communication, teamwork, adaptability, problem solving, work ethic, time management, and accountability
  • A track record of excelling with little supervision and previous experience being singularly accountable for multiple tasks and projects
  • The desire for a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • A collaborative mindset and approach to all tasks
  • A willingness to take charge in ambiguity, shift tasks (and even projects) to meet the ever-changing, ad hoc nature of production and post production

PLUSES

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, TV, or Entertainment or equivalent field of study
  • Experience working in TV or streaming production environments
  • A passion for video games, esports, interactive media, and technology
