The Event Operations Manager is responsible for the execution and coordination of event operations functions, as well as general event vendor and venue management in the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate is highly organized, with a strong enthusiasm for collaboration across multiple work functions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Manage event operations deliverables, working internally with relevant stakeholders to ensure client deliverables and milestones are executed in an efficient and timely manner
  • Oversee event operations functions, including but not limited to: venue sourcing, vendor management, ticketing, safety and security (including COVID protocol management), travel and accommodation, catering, on-site sponsorship activations, and general event staffing
  • Serve as the event operations point-of-contact and liaison during the planning and execution of events including but not limited to: internal and external communication, event operations budgeting, vendor and venue relationships, and site visits
  • Lead the travel and accommodation process and arrangements for internal employees, external partners, clients, talent, and players
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, venues, and all key internal and external key stakeholders

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE

  • 2+ years’ experience in event planning, coordination or related professional field
  • Basic knowledge of event production functions as it relates to venue sourcing and negotiation (video, audio, lighting, staging, logistics, etc.)
  • Prior experience working with event venues and their services (hospitality, power, rigging, staffing, security, etc.)
  • Proven track record in project management and coordinating client initiatives across multiple stakeholders
  • Remarkable technical, organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization, with a drive for results, collaboration, and seeing a project through from start to finish
  • Ability to travel as needed, including weekends and occasional holidays
