Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
  • A+, Linux+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation.
  • Basic operational understanding of gaming PCs, consoles, and peripherals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in software installation, machine maintenance and gaming console repair.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Required to sit, walk, stand, bend over or stoop on a regular basis.
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and to handle other computer components
  • Must be able to lift/transport moderately heavy objects; computers, devices and peripherals up to 50 lbs.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Set Up/Tear Down PCs and console hardware during floor resets/strikes.
  • Provide help desk support during arena and office hours of operation; being the first point of technical contact for error reporting.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on PCs and gaming consoles.
  • Install and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
  • Perform tests and evaluate new software and hardware.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and associated equipment.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Ensure electrical safety standards are met.
  • Repair or replace damaged hardware.
  • Install and upgrade anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
  • Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Conduct daily backup operations.
  • Generate weekly equipment inventory reports.
  • Manage technical documentation.
  • Additional duties as assigned by salaried members of management.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour
