ESL's office in Sydney is the workplace for around 22 employees and is located in Auburn. The project management function consists of six junior and senior project managers reporting to the Operations Manager. ESL is an equal opportunity employer.

We are now looking for a Project Manager who is passionate about managing all facets of projects from end-to-end, including responding to briefs, budgeting, planning, creating presentations and reports and working with our clients to ensure they have the best outcome possible for their events or online programs. The successful candidate will be a Sydney-based aspiring professional and a motivated team player looking to break into the exploding world of esports

JOB TITLE: Junior Project Manager or Project Manager (pending experience and qualification/s)

JOB TYPE: Full Time (pending 3 month probation)

LOCATION: Auburn, NSW 2144

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The core responsibilities of the role includes:

  • Project Planning & Management
  • Developing responses to event and program briefs
  • Budget planning and execution
  • Supplier management and development
  • Documentation tracking and file management
  • Schedule creation and implementation
  • Establishing and implementing project teams
  • Rostering and management of staff and contractors
  • Client management and liaison
  • Ability to track and execute clear milestones of a project
  • Reporting for all elements of a project
  • Financial reporting and follow up of the projects
  • Creating sales, event and debrief decks and presentations
  • Generate leads and create upselling opportunities from projects

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The successful candidate will:

  • Have core computer competency and a decent understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Excel.
  • Preferably have experience with the Google Suite of programs.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have a good understanding of budgets and ability to track project costs.
  • Be able to set out clear plans and milestones for a project and execute in a timely and efficient manner
  • Be organised and punctual.
  • Be willing to work a sometimes busy schedule. This includes overtime, after hours and weekend work.
  • Be willing to occasionally travel domestically and possibly internationally to events.
  • Be Sydney-based and able to work from our office located in Auburn 2144
  • Have two years relevant project management experience or relevant education in the field of Event and Project Management
  • Experience in esports is a bonus but not a requirement.
