Epic Games Online Services Team is looking for a smart, creative intern to join the web engineering team for summer 2020. Our Interns are given challenging projects over the work term, and are provided with a meaningful experience with high expectations for performance. As a web engineer at Epic, you’ll leverage full-stack understanding to solve complex technical challenges with novel solutions. You will collaborate with an experienced team at the forefront of the games industry, in order to provide exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Work on internal admin tools
• Enhance UI/UX for production Developer Portal.
• Work on new features for Developer Portal.
• Help switch to new libraries/solutions.
• Actively participate in daily meetings, identify and suggest things to improve in the codebase.

Qualifications:

• Currently completing a Bachelor/Masters Degree or recent graduate.
• Passion for crafting secure, scalable, and highly available web applications.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, React, CSS.
• Experience with cloud technologies (we use AWS).

This is a paid internship, running May through August 2020. All candidates must be eligible to work 40 hours per week on site in Helsinki.
