Sr. Analyst, People Strategy

The People Strategy Team focuses on increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the broader People Team - partnering with leaders in our organization to move toward a world-class People function.

As a People Strategy Senior Analyst, you’ll work within our People Team to identify opportunities, design & implement relevant solutions then define key metrics and establish maintenance plans that drive us toward our end goal: being as effective to Epic Games as we can be.

This role is a wonderful opportunity to work with senior leadership at Epic Games and gain exposure to a variety of People programs (analytics, compensation, recruiting, operations, etc.)

In this role, you will:

  • Work alongside our Head of People Strategy to act as an internal consultant on various projects and initiatives, often driving the roadmap/strategy, communication with key stakeholders and measurement of our success.
  • Build transparency and measurement into our function as a whole - ensuring that we work efficiently, effectively and properly prioritize.
  • Work with our People Strategy Team and People Team leadership to develop a one, three and five-year roadmap for our People Team - and the critical initiatives needed to get there.
  • Work alongside other People Strategy Team members to manage our projects and build a People Programs strategy.
  • Partner effectively with our stakeholders in Finance, IT, Facilities and other areas on cross-functional initiatives (e.g., remote-world readiness)
  • Serve as a steward of a data-driven, agile culture within our People Team organization.
  • Partner with our People Analytics, HRPs and stakeholders within the business to drive strong people insight throughout Epic.

Our ideal candidate may have:

  • Bachelor’s in a quantitative discipline or comparable work experience, MBA a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, banking or an analytical role
  • Strong Excel/PPT skills a plus - effective storytelling is a big part of our job
  • Gather and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others. Works effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to manage multiple projects at once (with oversight from our Head of People Strategy)
  • Experience with data analytics using SQL, Business Intelligence and Visualization tools such as Tableau a plus
  • General knowledge of People Team programs and functions (ideally at scale)
  • A consultative approach, understanding how to navigate a complex organization and leverage others’ expertise toward common goals

This is going to be Epic!
