PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
What We Do
Product Management partners with game development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to provide a data and market-driven view of product strategy that aligns with business goals. As part of Epic’s Growth Team, we use our product expertise to identify and drive growth levers to grow our player base and business.
What You'll Do
The Walt Disney Company and Epic Games are collaborating on an all-new games and entertainment universe. In addition to being a world-class games experience, this new persistent universe will offer a multitude of opportunities for consumers to play, watch, and engage with content, characters, and stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar, and more. Come join us in creating the future of interactive entertainment. Epic Games is looking for a Product Management Director. You will work with cross functional teams to drive engagement and monetization. This includes planning, executing, and measuring impact from new growth initiatives and supporting GTM for launch and other major content beats.
In this role, you will
Develop and execute engagement and monetization strategy, and partner with the production team to plan the product roadmap for a game in development
Collaborate closely with the game development teams (design, production, art, engineering) to integrate product recommendations into the roadmap, driving new growth initiatives
Manage product reporting both internally with Epic leadership and outside partners, including the preparation and facilitation of key engagement, monetization, and performance metrics
Steer product enhancements in collaboration with the Insights and User Research teams to drive actionable improvements
Drive go-to-market strategies with marketing and partnerships team for major content activations, ensuring we are expanding the game to newer audiences without churn amongst our existing playerbase
What we're looking for
6+ years of Product Management experience across live operations, launching new games/gameplay features, and feature/system design around engagement and monetization
A passion for games (especially Fortnite and/or related AAA Live Service games) and a deep understanding of the games industry as well as the growth, retention, monetization, and gameplay mechanics that create value for players
Experience bringing new gameplay features to mass market
Demonstrated ability to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Experience analyzing large data-sets to identify actionable insights; Excel and SQL proficiency is required; Tableau, Snowflake, and Databricks proficiency is a plus
Outstanding written and oral communication skills; including experience writing concept pitches and product requirement documents

This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA & NYC).
Pay Transparency Information
The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
New York City Base Pay Range
$251,441—$368,779 USD
California Base Pay Range
$230,487—$338,048 USD
