As a Pipeline Developer, you will be a force-multiplier in creating systems and features that are user-focused to ensure high-quality output of content. Our goal is to automate the pipelines to accelerate our mission to scan the world and build an ecosystem that unlocks Triple-A level artistry for everyone.
Responsibilities
- Explore new ideas with stakeholders to create new features and tools
- Produce clean and documented code/tools
- Design and develop Houdini Digital Assets (HDA)
- Iterate and refine existing tools and pipelines
- Troubleshoot workflow issues with team leads and production team
- Attend weekly meetings to gather feedback on process improvements
- Advocate of good workflow practices and functional/user documentations of delivered tools to stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience with Houdini that focuses on developing Digital Assets (HDA)
- Prior professional experience as a Procedural Artist, Tools Programmer or Technical Artist in tools development
- Solid Experience with Python and VEX
- Excellent attention to details and desire to deliver high-quality code consistently
- Strong communication skills with department leads, content creators, and software engineers
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Pluses
- Experience with ZBrush, Maya and other relevant software used in procedural modeling and content generation
- Prior experience in working with scan-based data and digital asset publishing
- Interest or experience in machine learning
