You will report to a Development Director in a central team, you will support studios with their game designs, with a focus on player safety and user generated content. We ensure our games meet industry standards and will work towards improving quality and player experience in these areas.

This is a hybrid role from our office in Orlando.

Responsibilities

  • Research and perform competitive analysis, to ensure we are aware of the best practices in the industry around player safety and user generated content.

  • Contribute to the development of internal standards that can be communicated with development teams and quality verification teams alike.

  • Develop innovative ideas in the above areas of focus, to help raise the quality bar.

  • Communicate in the format of writing videogame feedback reports, which may also be communicated in the form of a presentation or video.

  • Provide assessments for games that are in development, and communicate actionable feedback, including risk and impact.

  • Monitor real-time response to launched games and use player feedback to adapt and improve processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge of game development, specifically in protecting players from toxicity and abuse.

  • Understanding of how user generated content works, from the perspective of both creator tools and consumption of content.

  • Confidence to speak directly to game developers and provide support and direction in area of expertise

  • Passion, knowledge and experience in the areas of online gaming and competitive gaming

  • 3+ years of experience in a videogames company or similar, focused on areas of online safety and content sharing
