The Studio Technology Group (STG) is a collection of teams reporting to the COO organization, whose mission is to is to create the most efficient and elegant game creation tools and workflow in the industry inspiring all the talent across our studios, tools, research and game engine teams to allow our game teams to create the best work of their career and engage tens of millions of players.

To manage the scope and depth of the groups offering, we are looking for a Head of Product Management who will report directly to the Vice-President of STG and will lead the product management function within the group.

You will guide the future of Studio Technology Group product offerings and will ensure our game creators have the best available tools in the industry. This includes: The overall responsibility for the end-to-end product life cycle, user and our needs, product strategy, roadmap creation and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to user enablement and success.

You Will:

  • Establish the vision for game creation tools across Electronic Arts focusing on areas such as asset creation (characters, levels), workflow optimization through the use of advanced AI techniques.
  • Communicate the vision, the opportunities and the capabilities to all studios partners and executives.
  • Lead the creation of high-level roadmaps through requirement gathering and the creation of product specifications with the game teams' content leadership.
  • Partner with our R&D teams to bring groundbreaking innovation to the game creators and their titles.
  • Ensure that highest quality standards are met regarding delivery of software to game teams.
  • Prioritize plans and feature backlog to maximize value to Game Teams.
  • Perform competitive analysis of our solutions and provide gap analysis and investment opportunities in new technologies.

Requirements:

  • You have 10+ years of experience in technical product management in the digital content production domain preferably video game development.
  • You have experience managing a portfolio of products that relate to content creation, content management, performance capturing, and general process optimization
  • Collect and analyze user feedback and incorporate into our product roadmaps
  • Experience assessing the performance and quality of the products.
  • Willing to travel as and when required
