Mission Statement

The Game Product Manager works directly with product leadership to translate strategic directives into objectives and key results. Through ongoing partnership with the design and production teams, analytics, and research, the Product Manager assists in building a culture of iterative, lean development that prioritizes accruing product and player insights. They will synthesize insights into a deep understanding of the product and player, and leverage this understanding to effectively help with prioritization of projects to meet and exceed objectives.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data driven product design and decision making
  • Sound and proven ability in using and understanding in-game trends using data insights to impact top line KPIs
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with experience preparing and presenting decks to various stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and projects
  • Highly desirable, but not essential: A passionate football fan with a good understanding of the core mechanics of Madden NFL

Responsibilities

  • Partner with analytics to define experimentation roadmap, leveraging A/B testing and machine learning to achieve objectives and generate product and player insight. Translate outcomes into actionable recommendations.
  • Translate strategic directives into objectives and key results . Monitor and drive strategy around attaining results through the definition of associated KPIs.
  • Partner closely with production and design teams to conceptualize, spec and implement engaging features, mechanics, systems and modalities of play that fulfill objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities that provide value to players and align with our business objectives.
  • Proactively identify and implement optimizations to player experience and core financial performance.
  • Drive best-practice strategies in creating and optimizing virtual economies.
  • Develop and implement game health review cycles that carefully consider internal and external feedback as well as key product metrics to continually improve the product.
  • Track and develop a deep understanding of gaming trends and insights.
  • Be passionate about, and represent the voice and needs of our customers.
