The Asia Controllership team supports US GAAP reporting and statutory for the Group’s legal entities across the region and our team is based in: Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Shanghai (China) and Seoul (Korea).
Responsibilities
Based in Singapore, you will report into the Asia Controller, supporting EA’s Asian headquarters legal entities including leading statutory and local compliance and Asian controllership reporting with the option for a hybrid work.
Close and Reporting
Manage month end close process including reporting for Asia Finance leadership team ensuring the application and documentation of US GAAP and local GAAP financial policies and procedures
Statutory Compliance/ Internal control environment
Manage overall control environment and its effectiveness.
Manage compliance including preparation and review of statutory financial statements, annual audit and tax related filings.
Finance Partnering
Partner with FP&A and Business teams to manage monthly activities and provide accounting guidance during contract review and regular touchpoints
Qualifications
Think outside of the box; willing to challenge existing processes to lead efficiency
You are a team player, have relationships within Finance and across the organisation
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required, CPA or equivalent preferred·
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in general accounting or related field in a multinational organisation·
You will have direct reports
Knowledge expert with MS Suite, Power BI
Experience with Oracle ERP, Trintech Cadency, Hyperion Financial Management
Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills, other languages beneficial
