We are on the hunt for a passionate and creative team player to join the Global Communications team. Your daily tasks will support projects across Electronic Arts and drive content across digital spaces such as Slack, our intranet, blogs and social media platforms. You'll report to the Senior Manager, Employee Communications. Join us in driving the next revolution in games.

The Employee Communications Specialist will implement internal communications strategies that support several of our teams across Electronic Arts. You'll partner with these teams to ensure a consistent flow of information, game launches, events and more across Electronic Arts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide the full spectrum of communications support: drafting emails, reports, memos, presentations, meetings, events and webinars, and social media content.
  • Improve core internal communication channels including All-Hands, Global Town Halls, intranet, e-newsletters, employee and external events (drive tradeshow/conference recaps) and podcasts.
  • Develop a network of EA ambassadors across our offices to stimulate communication networks and develop content and plans to promote specific projects within a structured, crisp and coherent framework.
  • Manage content and updates across internal digital spaces.
  • Partner with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to identify communication needs, target audiences, goals and messaging.
  • Write content for video, emails, presentations and script activities related to internal communications.
  • Bring a fresh voice incorporating the Electronic Arts brand in creating messaging for daily needs across multiple platforms.
  • Manage an internal communication calendar for ongoing needs across a diverse range of deliverables and serve as project manager to ensure communication projects are completed on time and as planned.
  • Execute communication tactics including developing talking points, writing and recording content, newsletters, presentations and speeches.
  • Supports external communications goals as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a communications role (preference for employee/internal communications)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project management, presentation, videography, and video editing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent skills in AP Style, Microsoft Programs, Google Suite and Smartsheet
  • Creativity, a fun spirit and a great sense of humor

Please note this is a 12 month contract role. Our global benefits package is not included for this particular role.
