We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Technology Operations to join our globally distributed team, with options for on-site, remote or hybrid work in Canada. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will drive day-to-day engineering value streams, lead multiple teams, and collaborate across key technical initiatives for Player & Quality Insights.
Responsibilities
You will partner with internal stakeholders to track progress, communicate updates, and ensure alignment with strategic initiatives across EA, while monitoring value stream metrics for health and improvement opportunities.
Provide oversight to all value streams, ensuring alignment between the Business and PQI-Tech.
Lead collaborative and detailed delivery cycles and large initiative planning, integrating product/engineering requirements with EA goals.
Coordinate multiple managers and technical personnel throughout all project phases, from initial discovery through to development and release.
Collaborate with Technical Project Managers (TPMs) to report project status and results, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
Drive a strategic narrative on long-term strategy roadmap, focused outcomes and value to track progress, drive accountability, and foster awareness.
Oversee long-term planning and resource allocation processes for PQI's infrastructure.
Act as a thought partner with cross-functional teams across the business and EA, creating accountability for delivering outcomes.
Partner with PQI-Operations to manage headcount, risk assessment, forecast, and budget.
Coach Agile practices to ensure adoption of best practices from the top down.
Instil a culture of continuous improvement by promoting experimentation, feedback loops, and reflection.
Communicate Agile principles, scrum practices, and the operating model across the PQI-Tech team.
Qualifications
You bring 8+ years in Agile leadership and product delivery specifically with the application of agile, product and project management principles, practices and theory
You have extensive experience in coaching, mentoring, and empowering agile teams
You have a deep understanding of both operational and technological principles.
Experience in driving strategic initiatives and aligning teams towards common goals.
Strong change management, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards a shared vision
