TITLE: Senior Communications Specialist

LOCATION: Orlando, FL

The Sports Central Operations team enables transformation efforts, supporting the execution of EA SPORTS’ strategy – with employee communications being one of their key focus areas.

THE ROLE

EA SPORTS is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to support internal communications and employee branding efforts. The successful candidate will report to the Communications Manager, EA SPORTS – and will support and partner closely with leadership and team members based in Orlando, as well as Austin and Madrid.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, edit, and write content for a variety of internal communication mediums
  • Prepare and deliver internal communication strategies, driving measurable results
  • Partner with key stakeholders on communication efforts related to inclusion and diversity, as well as learning and development
  • Support change management through proactive communication
  • Help coordinate the programming, and craft messaging for, employee events – including town halls and team meetings
  • Act as a point of contact and partner for external communications, and support employee branding efforts

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • BA or equivalent in Writing, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in internal communications and/or employee branding within a global organization
  • Experience working with all levels of management and staff
  • Experience with event planning; web platforms; writing for various mediums; and basic design

SKILLS AND QUALITIES

  • Strong writer, with ability to adapt tone and style
  • A passionate communicator, who is interested in covering a broad range of topics and actively contributing to workplace culture
  • A self-starter with a bias for action
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results on time, within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Slack, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
