EA Orlando is looking for Quality Designers to join the Madden team at EA. Orlando is your destination to join the team in office or hybrid working style. You will report to our Quality Verification Manager. You will lead the execution of the end-to-end Quality Verification strategy for portions of our Madden title through close support and mentorship of our Quality Verification Feature owners and Craft Leaders. With an eye for improvement opportunities, you will influence the advancement of our Quality Verification processes and workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • You will have end-to-end ownership of quality around a portion of the title, which includes software testing and qualitative feedback.

  • You will build working relationships with members of development, production and design to develop a higher quality player experience through tasks such as feature planning, analyzing internal and external player data, and feature/design reviews.

  • You will propose and provide solutions to quality problems.

  • You can take an overall strategy and propose tactical solutions to achieve that strategy.

  • You will report on progress and status through regular communication with managers, partners and team members.

  • You will be a mentor for peers, assisting with and growing their knowledge.

  • You will always promote a "Player First" approach and be an advocate for the player in everything we do to help us achieve a high-quality experience for our players.

Requirements:

  • Game Design or Quality Assurance experience.

  • Software development cycle experience, from concept to live operations.

  • Work with team members in a distributed environment across multiple countries and cultures.

  • Defect and task tracking tool experience.
