PERMANENT – FULL TIME

REPORTS TO: IT MANAGER – GROUP SERVICES

SUMMARY

Administer and oversee global client-side configuration and technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage tickets and tasks assigned by the Senior System Administrator Team Lead
  • Liaise with Service desk teams and provide tools to assist with OS deployment, software distribution, patching, device control
  • Administer and oversee mobile device management services
  • Provide customer service for other internal IT teams. Assist teams with achieving their objectives through the use of Asset Management and Monitoring tools
  • Administer and oversee development of corporate standards for client-side software and hardware
  • Administer and oversee maintenance, monitoring, and documentation of endpoint management services
  • Prepare, package and deploy corporate applications via centralised systems management service, as well as the management of the global software repository
  • Assist with the conception, design, and implementation of leading-edge client-side security, tools, management technologies, and processes

SECONDARY DUTIES

  • Create and maintain documentation.
  • Liaise with vendor and contractors on Asset Management & Monitoring projects.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • 2+ years of experience supporting endpoint security tools including antivirus, full-disk encryption, device control, and mobile device management
  • Knowledge of software packaging and distribution
  • Experience deploying and supporting Windows 10, and provisioning workstations with SCCM Task Sequences
  • Experience of data security solutions including BitLocker & FileVault
  • Experience in defining security requirements and compliance reporting
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence
  • Familiarity with the current Windows 10 Servicing Model

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

  • Snow - Software Asset Management
  • macOS management with Jamf
  • MS InTune – MDM services - monitoring suite
  • Prometheus - monitoring solution - alerting and escalation solution
  • McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and McAfee Drive Encryption
  • Avecto Defendpoint / BeyondTrust – Privilege Management
  • MS GPO and GPP
  • PowerShell scripting and tasks
