The Team

Square Enix Montreal’s central technology team works on many diversified project:

  • A backend service solution built using micro-services
  • A web portal to support game development and live ops.
  • A unity library and extension to facilitate development and tool integration.

We work with the most recent technologies such as Unity, .Net Core and Angular.

Duties:

As an intern programmer, you must first be passionate about coding.

  • You'll be working in every stage of the development process: architecture, implementation, debugging, maintenance and optimization. Therefore having drive is key;
  • You'll take an active part in building and maintaining a high-quality code base;
  • You'll need to be resourceful and take initiatives to solve exciting challenges;
  • As a self-driven developer, you'll be a major contributor to the development of a high-quality technology;
  • You'll be working in close collaboration with the other members of our team.
  • In a nutshell, we're looking for exceptional individuals that are passionate about making a difference!

Experience and qualifications:

  • Backend/micro-services development knowledge is an asset;
  • Web development knowledge is an asset;
  • Experience with Unity is an asset;
  • Experience with mobile development is an asset;
  • Must have working knowledge of a common object-oriented language (C#, Java).

  • Teamplayer and a good communicator;
  • Self-driven and resourceful;
  • Desire to deliver technological innovations;
  • Mature enough to give and take constructive criticism;
