Report to: QA Director-Production

Duties:

  • Act as the cornerstone and spokesperson for all Tech QA matter across the project;
  • Assure proper and balanced equilibrium in tasks and mandates that fall on its team;
  • Make regular follow-ups with the project stakeholders regarding the Dev QA team or any other issues;
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of all documentation on Confluence for any tool, function, procedure, technical guide or other;
  • Develop, test and contribute to implement tools within the QA department as well as across the project;
  • Supervise and support QA Tech in the creation and maintenance of various reports;
  • Contribute to the quality and stability of builds;
  • Do any additional tasks given by the QA Director-Production.

Qualifications & Technical Experience

  • High school diploma;
  • College or university diploma in IT or programming (asset);
  • Minimum of six (6) years in QA with a knowledge of QA practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Jira, Perforce, TestRail, Teamcity and Confluence or equivalent Software/Platform;
  • Knowledge of QA practices and platforms for AAA video games;
  • Knowledge of practices, limitations and the possibilities of each platform’s;
  • Knowledge of IT (asset);
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite;
  • Knowledge of procedures and current practices of the industry;
  • Knowledge of programming languages (asset).

  • Ability to manage QA teams of all sizes;
  • Ability to interact with internal and external clients;
  • Excellent abilities to communicate verbally as well as in writing;
  • Maturity to give and receive constructive feedback;
  • Ability to work under pressure while respecting deadlines;
  • Ability to adapt in a technological environment that constantly evolve.
