We are on the hunt for a talented Cloud Engineer to enable CI/CD and system development for our new emerging technology platform. You will play a vital role in the build, test, and measure of various cloud infrastructure and code to create and maintain a stable platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and implementing cloud first applications. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build, test, and instrument cloud software.
  • Assist in progressing DevOps infrastructure and deployment methodologies.
  • Understand use-cases for Double A Labs software
  • Implement meaningful telemetry for internal and external consumption.
  • Maintain high standards of code maintenance and upkeep.
  • Work with the product team to deliver the expected behavior, up-time, and latency.
  • Effectively define and document designs and code to enable effective colleague collaboration.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on production issues with other engineers.
  • Perform production installations and upgrades of server software products.
  • Respond to production incidents and determine how to prevent them in the future.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 year experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure. Preferably cross-platform experience, especially with multi-platform targeted deployments.
  • Experience with Linux shell scripting environments such as bash or python.
  • Experience with API integration, plus for API development.
  • At least 4 years in software development.
  • At least 2 years experience with Docker.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code background a plus.
  • Experience building or maintaining cloud-native infrastructure, especially with global demand and surge traffic
  • Detail-oriented individual with understanding of how to piece together disparate parts to build the bigger picture.
  • Quick learner, fast to adapt, effective communicator.
  • Game development experience or experience with Unity and WebGL a plus
