You will:

  • Be a champion of quality and fidelity of all in-game assets
  • Mentor Junior 3D Artists alongside the Lead and Art Director
  • Create a range of characters, armours and creatures according to defined technical requirements, always ensuring quality
  • Create asset benchmarks for external vendors
  • Work closely with Concept Artists on briefs as well as instructing on the look and feel of required assets
  • Be an integral part of a competent and interdisciplinary team
  • Have influence on the targeted quality of the final project

Your specs:

  • Experienced 3D Character Artist within the gaming or entertainment industry
  • Thorough understanding of next gen asset creation workflows and the constant desire to improve them
  • Able to translate 2D concepts into 3D seamlessly
  • Expert knowledge when it comes to anatomy and the human form
  • Unmatched skills in ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter and 3DS Max
  • Ability to create game-ready assets that work well within the given technical limitations.
  • Flexibility to adapt well to new processes and pipelines
  • Open to constructive feedback and a willingness to contribute to an iterative process
  • Bonus: Experience with External Development/Outsourcing
