Although we believe living close to our studio helps foster team spirit and stronger bonds between team members, we understand that people have different needs and expectations for their place of residence. You have a choice of three location options, allowing you to work with Crytek from anywhere you wish:

1. Come to our modern headquarters in Frankfurt and receive an attractive relocation package and have access to all of our benefits.

2. If you are already living in a European Union member state, we are able to offer you a permanent work contract and allow you to work remotely as an employee from there.

3. If you are interested in full-time remote work in any other country outside of the European Union, we can offer you a freelance contract arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CRYENGINE’s cutting edge mobile rendering pipeline.

• Focus on the unique aspects and limitations of current and future state-of-the-art mobile devices.

• Conduct CPU and GPU performance and memory profiling and develop optimizations.

• Interact with artists, translate their ideas and propose workable solutions within the mobile context.

• Extend and adapt the rendering pipeline’s interaction with Vulkan and deal with adoptions across Vulkan’s extension spectrum.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Rendering/Graphics Engineer in the mobile industry.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• Excellent C++ programming skills.

• Good understanding of the graphics pipeline.

• Experience in some high performing rendering API (Vulkan, OpenGL ES) on mobile devices.

• Solid shader programming skills (GLSL/HLSL).

• Basic GPU and CPU debugging and optimization skills (RenderDoc/Snapdragon Profiler).

• Experience with cross platform engines preferably experience with CRYENGINE.

• Team player and self-motivated.

• Desire to learn, share and contribute.

• Solid English skills, good communication skills with strong affinity for transparency.

Pluses

• Experience with consoles.

• Understanding of the hardware pipelines of recent GPUs.

• Familiarity with multi-threaded programming patterns.
