General Purpose

The Director, Customer Data Analytics will be responsible for:

  • Leading the analytics practice across digital marketing, web & eCommerce
  • Develop reporting and dashboards for all stages of the digital customer journey (offsite, onsite)
  • Deliver insights to all business functions (e.g. site merchandising, digital marketing) to drive decision support

Position Summary, Responsibilities And Expectations

  • Lead analytics practice across digital marketing, web & eCommerce
  • Design and lead implementation of measurement frameworks, reporting visualizations, automated tools, testing capabilities, and forecasting tools to drive analytics usability, site performance, conversion efficiency, and scale across teams
  • Build reporting and dashboarding capabilities to measure all aspects of the customer journey e.g. marketing channel performance, traffic / conversion, site funnel performance, etc.
  • Partner with marketing, web, and UX teams to understand analytics needs and identify and prioritize areas of opportunity for analytics initiatives
  • Synthesize marketing, site, and customer data and parlay insights into collaborative wins with marketing and web teams
  • Identify technical and strategic gaps and proactively create best-in-class solutions (channel attribution, brand lift studies, bid testing, incrementality analysis, landing page and funnel testing, segmentation analysis, pricing, etc.)
  • Develop and iterate processes for resource demand management and project workflow
  • Lead strategic evolution of Corsair’s D2C data and analytics infrastructure into best-in-class state
  • Develop and lead experimentation program for conducting A/B testing and monitor performance
  • Report to head of D2C & eCommerce

Essential Skills And Experience

  • 8-12+ years in marketing and web analytics, particularly for eCommerce focused D2C brands
  • BS/BA in mathematics, statistics, CS, or other technical field, MA/MS a plus
  • Proven success managing people and projects, working across teams, and driving results in a cross-functional environment
  • Expertise in statistics and rigorous data analyses, strong grasp of data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Expertise with a range of A/B testing design and iteration strategies
  • Expertise forecasting, modeling, and building automation tools
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across audiences at varying levels of the organization
  • Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
  • Expertise with Web Analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc)
