We are looking for a competent Marketing Director to be in charge of the organization’s marketing ventures. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence and help it find a “voice” that will make a difference. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, able to employ unique marketing techniques. He/She will be a skilled marketing strategist and able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others. The goal is to create a positive brand image, to amplify exposure to our audience, and drive our sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, development and execution of marketing and advertising initiatives
  • Create marketing strategy map and calendar
  • Oversee scheduling and implementation of marketing strategy
  • Manage, direct and motivate social media and design personnel to help them use their talents effectively
  • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns and marketing efforts across multiple media platforms
  • Interface with the marketing personnel of closely associated brands to collaborate on marketing initiatives and activations
  • Create and curate the company's story in the public eye
  • Interface with third party PR firms to monitor and influence public perception, including securing public appearances and awards
  • Interface with third parties to collaborate on charitable or community driven endeavors and ensure that these efforts are seen and heard
  • Conceptualize and execute first party events in company's facilities (cradle to grave)
  • Lead internal meetings and brainstorming sessions to create unique ideas that would prove beneficial to the brand
  • Create, monitor, and curate the company's brand identity
  • Monitor and shape the company's public image to align with brand identity
  • Ideate and oversee any changes to the company's brand, logo, or mark
  • Work with social media team to create the company's voice on social media platforms
  • Create and maintain an general aesthetic and visual identity and ensure that forward facing media falls within those defined bounds
  • Be a part of partner meetings and brainstorming sessions to create unique ideas that would prove beneficial to partners
  • Create and maintain a strong network of strategic partners
  • Interface with sales team for partner campaigns including custom content, social media, advertising campaigns, and activations
  • Create and oversee the implementation of a customer service strategy via social media, headquarters, at events, and activations
  • Provide monthly marketing reviews with the team's successes, failures, and next steps, including evaluation of campaign goals and milestones
  • Use analytics, market trend research, and “the eye test” to determine what is the best course of action for upcoming marketing efforts
  • Monitor the trends of the fanbase and partner pool and direct the market research efforts of the company
  • Provide staff and talent with consultation on basic media training and how to best grow their individual brands
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities

Requirements

  • Must be familiar with esports
  • Hands-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design, brand development and PR
  • Ability to receive constructive criticism and work as a member of team.
  • Proven experience as a marketing director or similar role
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
  • Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels
  • Understanding of different business disciplines (sales, content, tech)
  • A leader with both creative and strategic capabilities
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
  • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 7-10 days a month
  • Relocation to Frisco, TX.
  • Ability to work from office in Frisco, TX.
