Job Overview:

As a Product Marketing Manager at Community Gaming, you will spearhead marketing initiatives for our innovative web2/web3 gaming products. This pivotal role demands a blend of market acumen and creative strategy, focusing on developing and executing marketing campaigns that amplify product awareness, drive adoption, and fuel revenue growth. Through close collaboration with product owners, marketing designers and writers, and product developers, your expertise in succinct product storytelling will maintain our position at the forefront of the gaming industry.

Objectives:

  • Craft compelling product marketing content that showcases the value of our subscription service
  • Design data-driven product marketing campaigns that target prospective customers
  • Ensure all product marketing messaging resonates with Community Gaming’s core values and brand ideals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and build relationships with external vendors and key stakeholders
  • Set product marketing budgets and build pricing strategy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand pain points of the target audience, identify market gaps, validate need, and ensure market demands align with the expectations of key stakeholders
  • Own the go-to-market plan for the subscription service, from ideation to execution
  • Craft and communicate compelling the value proposition of the subscription service that resonates with the target audience
  • Clearly define user personas and use cases
  • Negotiate budgets and build pricing strategy that allows execution of product vision at scale
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams (including product management, sales, and creative services) to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing product marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on subscription services and a track record of impactful results
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences
  • Deep knowledge of market trends and product life cycles
  • Proven ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative insights for market opportunity identification, consumer persona development, business planning, brand positioning, and campaign execution.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, with an intuitive understanding of how to assign responsibilities effectively
  • Firm grasp of video game, esports, web3 sectors
