About the Position:

We are looking for a creative and self-driven Human Resources Coordinator to assume a variety of HR duties and projects around recruitment, onboarding, and culture. You will be part of a startup HR department and as such, this role involves hands-on work with setting up processes and procedures with a focus on growing our company’s talent pipeline and improve our recruiting and selection tactics. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of Human Resources and ability to work with the HR Director on the employee’s lifecycle to provide for a great candidate and employee experience. You will be partnering with employees at all levels in the organization and ability to impact the culture as we grow the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruitment/hiring process by screening candidates, making recommendations, creating scorecards, making job offers, and performing background checks.
  • Onboard all new hires and conduct orientation presentations.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities between hiring manager, IT, and facilities.
  • Assist supervisors in developing onboarding plans for all new hires.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, feedback sessions, and employee meetings.
  • Participate in data analysis and presentation of key takeaways.
  • Assist with training sessions which may include putting together PowerPoint presentations.
  • Coordinate key initiatives around culture, performance, benefits, compliance, and offboarding.
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
  • Maintain records of employee-related data (personal information, agreements, contracts, leaves, etc.)
  • Actively participate and lead HR projects under the direction of the HR Director.
  • Be the first point of contact for all new hires and provide excellent customer service to all employees.
  • Work with team management to facilitate travel for Cloud9 players/team and staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative work experience.
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of legal requirements related to human capital.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint, in particular).
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to work with ATS software.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
