Cloud Imperium Games is seeking a Platform Content Specialist to join our mission critical Platform Operations team. This is an onsite position in our Austin office.

The Platform Operations team is responsible for the numerous moving parts involving deployments, accounts, security, e-commerce, and marketing. This small, but skilfully diverse team, is responsible for key systems and plays a major role in all initiatives related to platform content, marketing, compliance, operations, and publishing.

The Platform Content Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining assets for our promotions and web content, publicly visible on the RSI web site. They work with various departments in all of our studios across multiple time zones. Ideal candidates will be motivated to complete all tasks thoroughly and efficiently, taking great care to reach target dates and accuracy. Time management is crucial to maintain steady workflow, but there will be times where on-the-fly changes occur, so the need for flexibility is critical.

What do our Content Specialists do?

Create and maintain digital assets for the RSI Platform with our in-house content management system.
Set up and review digital product initiatives with stakeholders.
Distribution of digital products and other entitlements for Star Citizen players
Liaise with multiple internal teams to ensure the success of Platform projects.
Work with fellow specialists on shared tasks, including data validation, promotion launches, and emergent triage issues.
Assist with the authoring and auditing of highly detailed documentation on Platform processes.
Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Platform leadership reasonably consistent with the employee’s skills and experience.
Continuously develop an ever-increasing level of knowledge of the RSI Platform, Star Citizen, and Squadron 42.

What is required of a Platform Content Specialist?

Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Relentless attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to prioritize, adapt, and successfully complete tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Critical thinking and self-management skills, including the ability to work independently.
Willingness and capability to learn new software tools as the position requires.
A valid passport as international travel will be required.

Familiarity with collaborative applications such as Miro and Air Table\
