What We Need:

We are looking for an audio programmer to build gameplay audio and music systems for a strongly narrative and systemic game. You will work closely with our Audio Director and audio team to advance and implement the vision for our audio systems. You will also work closely with our gameplay team and support them as they prototype and develop new AI and Gameplay features. We understand that audio is a direct line to the player’s brain and we hope to incorporate audio feedback as a primary feature into nearly everything we make.

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:

Someone who has been a contributor as an audio engineer on previous AAA games. You should be comfortable and excited to work in an iterative, experimental paradigm. We think you should be familiar with the demands of the role but also still hoping to learn and improve. You should have a passion for audio and be excited to experiment with audio systems in order to create a fantastically immersive experience for players.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years industry or related experience
  • 1 or more published titles
  • Previous experience working in an Audio Programming role
  • Strong Math Skills
  • Strong C++ experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current gen AAA console experience
  • Experience with Audiokinetic Wwise is a plus

What You Will Do:

Collaborate with the Audio Director to build features like:

  • Acoustic physics simulation
  • Dynamic music
  • AI Bark systems & pipeline
  • In-engine tools for sound designers
  • Maintain and modify UE4 WWise engine plugin
  • Work between audio and gameplay to deliver best-in-class game audio
