We are an online Esports company looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing company. Our platform hosts online video game tournaments and head to head matches. In this role you will play a pivotal part in our development.

*Must be located in Los Angeles this is not a remote job and we are not looking to relocate anyone for this position*

Responsibilities:

• Validation of server side software components in hosted environment working closely with the Product Owner, the Scrum master and the Developers.
• Design and maintain acceptance / functional test plans and scenarios.
• Design and perform functional / load tests to deliver stable and robust software.
• Design and maintain automated functional / integration tests using e.g. Selenium IDE.
• Design and maintain automated API tests.
• Reporting any defects.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 year of software QA experience.
• Good problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Some experience with SQL, HTML, CSS, JS, XML/JSON.
• Experience in development of automatic testing environment in Selenium.
• Good knowledge of tools such as: SOAP UI, Postman, JMETER, Selenium and various testing frameworks.
• Practical experience in Scrum agile methodology.
• Practical experience in Jira Software ticket system.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.

Also appreciated:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant technical discipline.
• Knowledge of Devops tools: Jenkins, Ansible.
• Experience in working with GIT.
• Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills. Good at team work.
