Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer ready to join our Boston studio. You will be in charge of developing and adapting our internal tools and systems limited to supporting Project Orion - the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077. You will cover day to day tools development, supporting code compilation and integration, improving builds performance and developing new features. If you wish to learn unique technologies and at the same time gain a skill set useful in any other working environment, this is the job for you.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and improvement of the build system (in-house technology).

  • Developing and managing CI/CD systems.

  • Code compilation and integration.

  • Optimizing pipelines & processes.

  • Improving builds performance.

  • Working closely with the development team to integrate new deployment processes.

  • Establishing and maintaining various automation processes.

  • Maintaining source control branches and performing integrations with merge conflicts.

  • Providing Perforce support for the team.

  • Creating and maintaining documentation of the build/release process.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in C# backend development (ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+, primarily .NET 8).

  • 5+ years experience in software development.

  • Experience in Entity Framework, LINQ.

  • Proficient in Python programming.

  • Knowledge of Postgres or other RDBMs.

  • Basic ability to diagnose and administer Linux stack (systemctl).

  • Windows diagnostics (compilation errors, services, event log).

  • Proficiency in reading and diagnosing the log files, and structured logging (i.e. Graylog).

  • Experience in front-end development (React+Typescript).

  • Experience using source control software (e.g. Perforce, GIT).

  • Experience using CI tooling (preferably Jenkins, but is not required).

  • A proactive attitude towards helping others to get their work done faster and more efficiently.

  • Interest in good coding practices.

  • Willingness to learn skills on the job.

  • Self-organized.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine.

  • Continuous integration concepts, centralized CI, Perforce.

  • Experience in containerization Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with AWS.

  • Knowledge of Eleasticsearch/MongoDB is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, security concepts, authentication.

  • Experience in the gamedev industry.
