CCP is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join its IT Operations team in our Shanghai studio. The main responsibility is to manage the office IT end-user equipment and IT server and services infrastructure, work on various IT helpdesk tasks and end-user requests. This includes collaborating with a team of IT professionals and software engineers in our Iceland and London studios.
Areas of responsibilities include:
- Source, assemble, set-up and deliver end-user workstations and equipment with required software
- Support and maintain end-user workstations, laptops and other office IT equipment and resolve IT help desk issues for local and distributed users
- Participate in maintenance, patching and control of IT systems
- IT asset management and inventory administration
- Software license management
- Working with and managing workstations and servers (Windows/MacOS/Linux)
- Maintain, monitor and manage local server and IT infrastructure
- Deployment of virtual machines and resources, on-premise and AWS
- Other helpdesk and systems administration related tasks and responsibilities as required
Requirements:
- System Administrator experience and degree in system administration preferred
- Microsoft certification preferred, e.g. MSCA, MSCE
- Knowledge of networking and core technologies like DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SSO, VPN, HTTP/S etc.
- Experience in maintaining servers and office IT infrastructure
- Scripting or programming language skills beneficial, e.g. Batch, PowerShell, Bash, Python
- Knowledge of using collaboration and ticketing tools like Jira and Confluence beneficial
- Git/Perforce source code management system knowledge/experience preferred
- Understanding of security concepts and tools preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Ability to work well with a remote team and a line manager
- Ability to communicate in English required, both verbally and in writing
- Occasional travel to the Iceland office to support special corporate events may be needed
