We’re looking to add a Contract Associate Recruiter to our team to support our early in career and internship hiring! This individual will play a key role supporting our University Relations/new graduate programs and full cycle recruitment efforts. This is a unique opportunity to partner with studio leadership, hiring managers and the people team to bring fresh talent into our studio.

Estimated Duration: 12 months

With the uncertainty and rapidly changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, most positions at Bungie are expected to onboard and work from home for a significant portion of 2021. In 2022, most Bungie employees will adopt a flexible schedule working from home part time (outside of positions identified as either 100% onsite or fully remote in WA & CA). Currently only a select range of positions are available for full-time remote work in WA & CA (please review location for details). Prospective employees located outside of CA & WA will need to establish WA state residency within 45 days of a start date. Bungie’s work from home, flexible work schedule, and remote policy is subject to change at the company’s discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with recruiting team and employee alum to help foster relationships with universities, schools, and other programs to identify diverse talent pools and develop resourcing plans for the organization
  • Assist with executing and scaling the university relations program; foster and maintain meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders (People team, business leaders, and hiring managers) to support process, best practices, structure, activities, and events
  • Own and manage the full cycle recruitment process for early in career reqs by driving talent engagement across several teams: identify, source, screen, facilitate and extend offers to candidates in order to successfully fill openings
  • Understand Bungie’s hiring needs in close partnership with recruiters to translate those needs into effective and efficient candidate generation strategies
  • Drive talent engagement: source, identify, and cultivate relationships with active and passive candidates to fill current openings and develop a pipeline for future needs
  • Screen candidates for availability, interest level, eligibility to work in the U.S., salary expectations, relocation needs, relevant skills and experience, and core competencies and present them to appropriate hiring teams
  • Advise hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process
  • In addition to our internship program, support full cycle recruitment efforts for our associate level and other early in career hiring initiatives
  • Understand candidate needs and successfully close candidates; use a high degree of professionalism and savviness in generating, extending negotiating offers
  • Ensure that every candidate has an outstanding and inclusive experience
  • Act as an employment brand ambassador attending job fairs, conventions, industry events and conferences such as college career fairs, Grace Hopper Celebration, and GDC
  • Maintain and encourage further development of recruitment initiatives/programs (e.g. employee referral program, relocation programs, compensation surveys, etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Establish effective partnerships with external stakeholders, including university professors, career counselors, organizers, and students, to generate candidate pipelines and sourcing strategies to fulfill the studio’s talent gaps
  • Experience owning full cycle recruitment and candidate generation
  • Track record of successfully managing and filling high volume and early in career reqs
  • Work closely and partner with recruiting operations as well as internal hiring teams to understand internship requests, processes, and events; identifying risks, resourcing plans, and branding opportunities
  • Proven ability creating candidate pipelines and a track record of hiring success
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and demonstrated strength in prioritizing multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated success in implementing targeted sourcing initiatives, utilizing a variety of tools including Boolean, Gem, Hiretual,
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships; experience with coaching hiring managers
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Greenhouse

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Interest in games and/or previous recruiting experience in the video game industry
  • Previous experience with diversity sourcing strategies
