We've raised over $8 million from top investors and game developers like Supercell, Tencent, London Venture Partners, Founders Fund, Betaworks, Northzone and more.

We build a lot of the platform's games in-house. We're looking for an awesome visual designer to help make warm, funny games targeted at a casual audience looking to have fun with their friends. You will be responsible for concepting and designing everything around the game experience and the games themselves.

This is a key role in building the future of games and video chat communication with the Bunch team. We're a highly collaborative, passionate team looking to move fast and make a big impact. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

💪 About the Role

Report to our Director of Game Development and collaborate with our founders & CEO.
Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something fun and engaging.
Establish, develop and maintain the games artistic style and visual quality.
Design flows and experiences that are simple and elegant.
Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams.
Partner with Product Managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists to oversee the user experience of the game products from conception until launch.
Execute all visual design stages from concept to assets.
Help source and manage external art contractors, setting the direction for them and ensuring quality.

📐 Requirements

5 years of experience creating visual designs for websites / mobile apps
Some examples of products that you've had a significant hand in
Portfolio showcasing proficiency and versatility in visual design
Excellent understanding of visual storytelling and pacing
Solid empathy & interpersonal skills for building a shared vision around your work

👍 Bonus points if you...

Have experience with both game art and product design
Love to play games (board games, video games, social games etc).
You have experience with agile software development practices, and have participated in product roadmaps and development sprints before.

In normal times, we have an office in downtown Toronto. In these slightly less-than-normal times, we're an entirely remote company. We can help you to outfit your home office with all the gear and tools you need. We expect to return to the office when it's safe, so the ability to commute to downtown Toronto is something we require.
