Location: Derby - Hybrid (UK)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team here at Bulkhead. As our Talent Acquisition Manager, you will love working with a variety of people and be brilliant at building and maintaining great relationships.

You will be responsible for the full cycle of the recruitment process for multiple disciplines across Bulkhead. You will support our recruitment process to help the large-scale growth over the next 2-5 years and build an efficient recruitment pipeline that can attract passionate game developers to our studio.

This is a wide and varied role, so we are looking for someone who is confident and proactive, who can work independently in a fast-paced environment, and be able to prioritise their workload.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage the full cycle of the recruitment pipeline including job advertisements, sourcing, interview screening, offer negotiation, and the hiring of successful candidates in all Junior and Mid-level roles
  • Take initiatives relating to Bulkhead brand; LinkedIn, industry events etc
  • Constantly source and build relationships with potential candidates to maintain a strong pipeline for future vacancies
  • Ensure all candidates are a great cultural fit for BULKHEAD
  • Proactively head hunt potential candidates for open and unfulfilled vacancies
  • Provide timely follow-up’s with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Maintain & provide weekly recruitment report to the Talent Acquisition Lead
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead to ensure successful workforce planning
  • Maintain relationships with external recruiters
  • Any ad hoc requirements needed

The skills and experience that you will need:

  • Focused on top quality service and strategy in a high performance organisation
  • Able to work at the speed of the business and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to be resourceful in finding both active and passive job seekers
  • Excellent communication skills and proven experience in building relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Process oriented
  • Strong team player capable of self-direction when required
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Takes initiative, follow through and capacity to make important decisions;
  • Strong Microsoft proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Bonus Experience

  • Experience working with applicant tracking software
  • Experience in the recruitment industry
  • A good understanding of the talent challenges and growing pains with games industry roles
  • Previous experience working in the games industry or games industry recruitment is a bonus
