Working at Bohemia Interactive as a Junior Technical Artist is interesting because you will have the chance to influence nearly every asset in a game, including configuring and tweaking houses, trees, weapons, equipment, and even vehicles. Sometimes we find very interesting nuances and have to analyze them closely. That's something only a few games on the market do. You will also have the opportunity to work with nearly every department, usually while designing and implementing new features and assets.
You will
Maintain and organize game assets within version control systems (SVN).
Implement and configure assets in the game engine, ensuring consistency and quality.
Work with designers, programmers, and artists to prototype and integrate new technical features.
Prepare and edit 3D models for in-game use.
Continuously improve and document workflows, while staying up to date with industry tools and techniques.
Requirements
Familiarity with version control systems like SVN.
Ability to manage large sets of game data and assets.
Basic scripting knowledge (C# or similar).
Experience with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
Basic proficiency with 3D modeling tools (Blender, 3Ds Max, or similar).
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and workflows.
Proficiency in spoken and written English (B1+).
