The ideal candidate will have a passion for expanding and improving features to make Hearthstone the best it can be. Responsibilities
Work closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to ensure a fantastic player experience.
Create and enhance game features on the client and server.
Support emergent issues in a live environment.
Assist the features lead in architecting large-scale systems.
Stay current with Hearthstone’s design and business goals.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years professional experience.
Experience with C#.
Familiarity with performance analysis and code optimization.
Some experience with Unity.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
High comfort level extending and improving an established code base.
Pluses
Experience supporting and shipping AAA game titles.
Familiarity with C++.
Experience developing card games or other turn-based strategy titles.
iOS and/or Android development experience.
Experience supporting a live service.
Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related degree.
Familiarity with Hearthstone.
