Blizzard’s internal ecommerce platform powers our in-game and online storefronts. As a Product Manager on the Commerce Operations team, you will be at the epicenter of new product launches, providing top-notch customer service to our internal game teams. Successful product managers develop strong working relationships with our internal and external partners by synthesizing big picture strategies against detailed requirements, complex dependencies, and technical limitations. Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize stakeholder requirements, business goals, and technical limitations into a cohesive product launch strategy
  • Analyze the effectiveness of various merchandising approaches and evangelize best practices
  • Advocate for the short- and long- term goals of our internal game teams when partnering with our ecommerce product owners to surface new business problem trends and develop new functionality
  • Contextualize the long-term vision of our products, tools, and services when operationalizing new product features
  • Establish a positive and empowered team environment with redundant POCs to ensure high availability
  • Intake, prioritize, and address configuration requests from our internal stakeholders (Game Development, Publishing, Commercialization, Legal, and Risk)
  • Manage the end-to-end content configuration lifecycle of new and/or changing products and pages on our in-game and online storefronts
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational and performative risks
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders and partners (Game Development, Publishing, Commercialization, Legal, Risk, QA, Localization)
  • Keep stakeholders informed on the priority and status of active and backlogged requests and projects
  • Ensure the proper provisioning of access privileges to our products and tools
  • Coordinate the safe delivery of digital keys and large-scale entitlement grants

Requirements:

  • Ecommerce Potential: Has an eye for product; gets excited about a future career in ecommerce product management at Blizzard
  • Business Acumen: Understands the big picture; capable of stewarding commercial initiatives through a complex technical ecosystem
  • Collaborative: Values the expertise of others; a team-player, servant-leader, strong communicator
  • Experience managing complex dependencies and tight deadlines
  • Experience operating within cross-functional teams with conflicting goals and priorities
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of gaming business models
  • Can-do attitude with high customer availability
