We need someone who lives and breathes videography, tech, and gaming, and is ready to hit the ground running. This is an entry level position but some hands-on experience of using DSLR cameras and using Adobe editing software is essential to be successful in this role.
We want someone who is willing to go the extra mile to support our rapid Youtube growth and be part of a growing video team and wider company.
Candidates must have a relevant and up to date showreel, that preferably includes youtube videos, social videos, product reviews, tech videos. If your showreel does not include any of these feel free to send us a demo video which reflects the content we make on the WePC Youtube channel. Showreels which include predominantly short films or irrelevant content will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shoot and edit high quality videos
- Photography and photography editing
- Write scripts
- Take a brief and deliver outstanding video content, to brand guidelines and standards, as part of a team or independently.
- Bring fresh creative ideas to the team
- Support the video manager and wider video team with any other related or day to day tasks
What Do I Need To Succeed?
Essential
- An understanding of PC tech and gaming
- Punctual and Reliable
- Basic understanding of and hands on experience with DSLR cameras, lighting and editing (will need a video portfolio)
- Basic understanding of and hands on experience with Adobe creative suite, specifically Premier Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects
- Attention to detail
- Proactive and positive with a can-do attitude
- Effective communication skills
- Be hungry to learn
- Be accepting to new challenges
- Keen to learn and develop skills, and willingness to embrace change
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Enthusiastic and committed
Preferable
- Experience as a presenter/reviewer for videos, such as how to’s and product reviews
- Experience working in the tech or video game industry
- Experience with live streaming on platforms such as Youtube and Twitch
- Experience working in a video team or for a video/photography studio
- Experience working for a Youtube channel or creating videos for your own channel
