Overview

Bethesda Games Studios is looking for a highly motivated Senior Concept Artist with a passion for online games to join our production team in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Ideation of compelling characters, immersive environments, and supporting assets
• Daily collaboration with Art leadership to help create and drive the vision of the game
• Accurately estimate tasks
• Visual storytelling to support and expand upon our fiction
• Creation of marketing imagery for web-based content

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience as a Concept Artist for interactive media
• Strong traditional art skills expressed through a grasp of composition, anatomy, color theory, architecture, fashion, and graphic design
• Practical experience within a 3D package
• Strong communication skills and excellent visual storytelling
• Understanding of the various Art disciplines within a game studio
• Receptive to constructive feedback and a willingness to work within an iterative and collaborative process
• Ability to express ideas in a multitude of different styles and mediums

Preferred Skills

• Strong familiarity with Bethesda Game Studios titles
• Previous AAA game development experience with multiple shipped titles
• Experience working on live games
• Fundamental understanding of various character creation systems from a variety of games
• Passion for video games
