Your mission

Your duties will include creating high-quality animations in accordance with technical limitations. You will also create animations for our characters, objects and cinematic sequences. You will work closely with other artists, designers and game programmers. We want you to enjoy a unique work experience and use your knowledge and imagination on our talented team.

Your objectives

  • Work with designers, programmers and artists to create quality animations that respect the established style and vision;

  • Integrate and support the animation functionality in the game engine;

  • Do research and consult references to acquire the knowledge to implement the requested animation tasks;

  • Participate in conceptualizing the behaviours and skills of game characters;

  • Be proactively involved in the development of the game, levels, and characters;

  • Create animations via keyframing and mocap;

  • Optimize animation assets for memory usage.

Player profile

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a 3D animator of video games or in a related industry;

  • Excellent knowledge of Mocap animation;

  • Great knowledge of Handkey animation and anatomy;

  • Knowledge of Maya;

  • Willingness to adapt to different technologies for different projects;

  • Ability to work within the technical constraints of video game development;

  • Ability to communicate with other members of the team;

  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and a constructive attitude towards criticism;

  • Organized and able to meet deadlines;

  • Passionate about video games;

  • Perk: Experience in cartoon animation and/or mocap;

  • Perk: Familiarity with Motion Builder;

  • Perk: Experience in rigging;

  • Perk: Familiarity with the basic concepts of moviemaking and camera work.
