The Project Management Lead will oversee the project management team and be the key liaison within the Digital & Creative Services team to the other team leads within the publishing organization. They will also oversee/manage the day-to-day project tracking via our project management tools for all work requests. They will work with designers, video producers, brand managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure that all projects are properly scheduled and executed. They will manage submissions to ratings boards and first party partners, to ensure that they are completed on time. They will also partner with our designers and video producers to manage our digital asset management platform. This individual must be a strong communicator (verbal and written), highly organized, service-oriented technology advocate; and be able to handle many moving parts at once.

Flexible, Remote and Work From Home options are available for this position until approximately April 2022. Afterwards we expect all employee's to join us at our new offices in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee the digital services project management team, and be the key liaison for all teams
  • Mentor and develop the digital services project management group to ensure that each member is growing in their career
  • Proof incoming job requests via project management tools and validate that they are ready to begin work
  • Lead efforts for continued improvement of internal tools and processes for the team
  • Oversee and coordinate the ongoing projects for the creative services team and external vendors
  • Generate reports on the status of projects and share them with the team
  • Lead our internal efforts to raise the level of education and utilization of our tools
  • Ensure that creative assets are submitted to ratings boards and first party partners for approval, and track their progress through the approval process
  • Manage our digital asset management tool in conjunction with our creative team
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining file naming conventions and other shared creative services files

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the project management team

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in project management software (some examples: Workfront, Basecamp, JIRA, Teamwork, Zoho Projects, MS Project, Asana, Mavenlink)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Bonus Points for PMP, CAPM, CSM certifications
  • Additional Bonus Points for personal and/or professional experience with video games

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Degree or certification in the creative field or project management
  • 5 years minimum in an in-house or agency creative team
